P2P-Networks are based on open communities. Each user, who connects with an appropriate program (Client) to one of these networks, becomes automatically a part of this community, a so-called Peer. In this kind connection, peers have the ability to exchange all kinds of data. Since these networks are formed spontaneously and are decentralized, there is not common place for which the level of user activity can be measured.

It is on this point that EVIDENZIA specialize. The EVIDENZIA P2P Activity Centre (ePAC) continuously measures the activity in Peer-2-Peer networks collecting various bits of information, similar to popular search engines.

Data collected from this monitoring allows ePAC to provide information about the users’ behaviour within the networks.

What data has been swapped or which films, series and music albums have been “downloaded” are just some of the questions that EVIDENZIA will be able to answer.
